Theoriginal intention of U-Love education was to introducing advanced western educationalmethods and ideas to China, allowing Chinese students to learn using western techniques,such as the called Socratic method, in order to inspire students tothink critically and independently, and analytically; Studentswill be trained to challenge teachers and to engage in criticaldiscourse in class. U-Love Education’s main business involves 1. ProvidingEnglish as a language environment for grade 1-12th students,including: English literature (English book reading), English writing, Englishpublic speaking, English drama, Western history/philosophy, Psychology, Outdoorsoccer, and so forth; 2. Providing relationship, communication and sales skillsworkshops for adults and enterprises; 3. Teaching Philosophy Referring to Socrates’ theory of "the unity of knowledge and ethics”: correct behavior comes from correct ideas, virtue originally comes from knowledge, if there was no knowledge, there would be no kindness, there would be no true happiness also. Socrates believed that to doubt self-knowledge is the source of the knowledge of virtue. U-Love educator's responsibility is to inspire students to know themselves, thus real knowledge and wisdom can come from their heart, and allow students to grow and become mature in an atmosphere of love.
